Slow fashion, ethical fashion? Yes or no?
We're all about slow fashion!
All our accessories are made at home with care and attention to detail. All products are priced with ethical wages accounted for. We try to mainly use cotton fabric in an effort to a) be biodegradable b) feel better on your skin and c) last longer.
Our dream is to be entirely carbon neutral as soon as financially possible. Soon we'll plant trees every time we sell a cloud bag. We hope that Little Broderie can have a first-mover and positive ethical impact on South Africa's accessories industry :)
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet! Just nationwide to South Africa - for now.
What materials do you use?
The white fabric we use is 100% cotton, as soft as a sheet. Some materials we use might be polycotton or polyester, please check the description per item. The sewing thread used differs between 100% cotton and polycotton.
How often do you stock items?
We stock things as often as weekly, but typically we just make an order when it arrives! Limited pieces are made in small batches to avoid waste.
Wash Instructions?
We recommend you wash your Little Broderie items in garment bags to avoid snagging by your other laundry. All items can be washed at high temperatures to keep them white and crisp. The tote bags, collars and bucket hats can be steamed and ironed at a medium temperature.
